Ingrid Guerra-López, Ph.D.

Dr. Ingrid Guerra-López, a consultant with Kelly Novak Opportunities (KNO) Worldwide, is a best-selling author and internationally recognized expert in human and organizational performance improvement known for her work in performance assessment and evaluation, and performance measurement and feedback systems.

Dr. Guerra-López has more than 15 years of experience as a management consultant, working with a client list that expands across industry, government, military, NGOs, health care, and education. Past clients include World Bank, USAID, General Motors, Daimler-Chrysler, Daimler Financial, Amway, U.S. Navy, Metlife, UNESCO, and state governments in various countries across the world. Over the years, she has coached leaders in over 30 countries across 5 continents, as well as conducted HICD assessments and interventions in Rwanda, Vietnam and Nicaragua.

She is currently a Professor at Wayne State University and the Founder of the Institute for Needs Assessment and Evaluation (IFNAE). She is Editor-In-Chief of the research journal Performance Improvement Quarterly and is a previous member of the Board of Directors for the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI). She has written six books on performance evaluation and assessment, two of which have become best sellers, including Needs Assessment for Organizational Success and Performance Evaluation: Proven Approaches to for Improving Program and Organizational Performance, as well as published over fifty articles and over a dozen book chapters on performance improvement, assessment, and evaluation.

Dr. Guerra-López earned her Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Instructional and Performance Systems and her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida State University.
