Mrs. Egidia Uwera has over 10 years of experience in the Rwanda Education Sector including 7 years of senior management experience. Mrs. Egidia has been working in the Rwanda National Examinations Council (RNEC); Showed commitment to fulfil several responsibilities; head of Department of Examinations Preparation and Administration for primary and secondary education; has worked as the Director of Planning, Research, Monitoring, Quality Assurance and Statistics. Mrs. Egidia has worked for SNV Rwanda, a Netherlands development organisation within education team as Senior Education Advisor. She has been member of the Board of Directors of the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) and member of the Board of Directors of the Authentic International Academy (AIA).
Currently, Mrs. Egidia is an independent consultant and advisor, as board member and leader in the Capacity Development Advisors (CADEA Ltd). She has provided advisory and consultancy services to clients in various areas including education, facilitation of MSP, gender, training-workshops management, monitoring and evaluation. She is experienced in project implementation, strategic planning, design and managing contract agreement, developing M&E plans and tools, capacity building needs assessment, designing training materials and training facilitation.
Mrs. Egidia holds a PhD in Human resource management, RIAM/ MsM; 2008 and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Burundi, 1990.
