Eugene is a Finance Lecturer at the University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics. He is a Finance consultant and researcher.
He has done a number of research work for both private and Public Institutions in the fields of finance and Management, Tracer Studies and others. He has a teaching experience of more than 8 years. He has been the Head of the Consultancy Unit of the University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics with a mandate of generating supporting resources for the University for almost 5 years.
He also headed the Center for Executive Education and Professional training. Together with his teaching career at the University, Eugene is currently appointed as the Coordinator of the Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa (TRAPCA) of the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI) at the University of Rwanda. He has also served as the Executive Council Member of the former School of Finance and Banking and currently an Executive Member on the College Council. He is as well a secretary of the Board of the AKA (Akazi Kanoze Access) a Non-Government Organization.
MR. Eugene is a PhD Candidate at the University of Rwanda, College of Business and Economics (CBE), 2016-2019. He holds an MBA-Finance from the Maastricht School of Management (MsM), Netherlands, 2011, BBA-Finance School of Finance and Banking (SFB), 2008. Eugene is a Certified Trainer of Trainers by the University of Lumberg (Germany) on the STEP (Student training for Entrepreneurship Promotion) program, 2012 and Certified Trainer of Trainers by Rwanda Institute of Cooperatives, Microfinance and Entrepreneurship (Cash Flow-Based Lending Model), 2014.
