Mr. Jean Marie Vianney H. Makuza is a Consultant in human capital development, project evaluation and social & governance- related research. Mr. Jean Marie Vianney is the Director General and owner of Cope Consulting Ltd, established since 2010.
From 2005-2010, Mr. Jean Marie Vianney successfully led consultancy assignments partnering with the International firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in several countries of the Great Lakes Region. Prior to joining Deloitte, he worked for Kigali Health Institute, an institution of higher learning, as the Vice Rector in charge of Academic Affairs.
Mr. Jean Marie Vianney also a training facilitator for the International Leadership Development Program (Crestcom International/Raiser Resource Group) for Senior Managers in the Great Lakes Region (Burundi, D.R. Congo and Rwanda) from 2008 to 2009. He had previously served as a World Health Organization (WHO) consultant in the area of human resources development
Mr. Jean Marie Vianney is the Legal Representative of “Rwanda Organization of Professional Management Consultants” (ROPC) and the President of “Rwanda Society for Performance Improvement” (RSPI). He is fluent in French, English, Kiswahili and Kinyarwanda, his mother tongue.
Jean Marie Vianney Makuza holds a Master’s in Business Administration (M.B.A)/Maastricht School of Management (The Netherlands)-2004, Bachelor’s degree in Organization Behavior & Industrial Psychology (Psychologie du Travail), University of Kisangani , D.R Congo, 1988.
He is a Certified Kirkpatrick Four Levels Evaluator, 2013, Certificate in Business Management System (BMS), World Trade organization(WTO), 2008, and has a Certificate in Curriculum development for continuing education, University of Liege, Belgium, 1999. Mr. Jean Marie holds an Academic Merit for the Advanced International Program in Peace Studies, European University for Peace Studies (EPU), Stadtschlaining/Austria 1996 and a Certificate in Psychometrics , INPP-D.R. Congo, 1986.
