Judith Katabarwa

Judith holds an MBA from the University of Central Lancashire in UK with a thesis in Performance Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Makerere University in Uganda with a bias of financial services. Recently added to her Project management and Monitoring & Evaluation knowledge is an International Program for Development Evaluation training (IPDET), a practical certification training by World Bank and Carleton University in Ottawa where; Theory of Change as well as other M&E approaches are emphasized in a more perspective manner to improve programs and projects efficiency and effectiveness.
Judith is a certified Performance Technologist (CPT), a certification by the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) where results performance management and fulfillment of 10 performance standards is a prerequisite. She also holds a certificate in Bullet Proof Manager Leadership training by Crestcom International. Judith attended several other trainings including; Kirk Patrick Training evaluation, project planning and management, Result based Management and others.

Judith has over eight years’ experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation of international and national development projects/programs, results based management/monitoring and six years in performance management of both human resource and institutions. She is an enthusiastic person whose strengths are in Planning, Team work, communication, interpersonal skills, capacity building and working towards achieving results.
Judith is the current Vice President in charge of Finance at Rwanda Society for Performance Improvement (RSPI); she has also acted for several months as RPI president. Judith is also the Vice Chair Person for Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE Rwanda) Executive Committee and a Board Member in charge of technical Advisory for ARDE/KUBAHO; a local NGO.
Judith works with the National Capacity Building Secretariat (NCBS) as the Division manager for Strategic Operations and Quality Assurance, this senior management role requires leadership skills and high level professionalism to be able to supervise a team of 9 experts in the areas of M&E, Knowledge Management, Human Capital and Skills Development, Data Management and Institutional Capacity Development. Part of her daily roles also is stakeholder engagement and quality assurance of both internal and external capacity development initiatives.
In the United Kingdom, Judith did various jobs including recruitment coordination in a social service company, admissions staff with the University of Central Lancashire, and Customer Care services with Perfect Leisure limited in Preston.
